We recently connected with Chantel Williams and have shared our conversation below.
Chantel, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today f you needed to find a key partner or facility – how did you find them, what was the process of striking a deal like and what would you do differently knowing what you know now?
Finding the right partners has always been about more than convenience — it’s about alignment. When I first started growing Maxxtell Creations, LLC, I knew I needed partnerships that reflected the same values I bring to my clients: purpose, integrity, and collaboration. Having partnerships rooted in community impact, marketplace ministry and creative synergy are ideal tools to success. Together, we’ve supported entrepreneurs globally, collaborated on events, and provided opportunities for small business owners to learn how to better manage, maintain, and scale their brands.
My approach to partnerships has always been relationship-first. Many of my most valuable collaborations came from simply showing up — volunteering, mentoring, and connecting with like-minded leaders. Those genuine interactions naturally evolved into professional opportunities because people saw my commitment and consistency.
When it came time to make connections, I focused on transparency and shared goals. I’ve learned to be more strategic, to trust my instincts, and readjust my presence for opportunities that don’t align with my mission. Every collaboration — from the partnerships to other local business initiatives — has taught me that true partnership isn’t just about business growth; it’s about building a network that uplifts the community and creates lasting impact.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Chantel Williams, Founder and Lead Branding Strategist of Maxxtell Creations, LLC, where creativity meets strategy. Officially launched in 2016 and founded in 2005, my business helps entrepreneurs, small businesses, and organizations elevate their brand through authentic, purpose-driven design — from logos and websites to marketing campaigns.
My pivot into full-time entrepreneurship came during the pandemic, which inspired my Amazon best-seller, The Purposeful Pandemic Pivot. That experience strengthened my commitment to helping others transform challenges into opportunities and stand confidently in their purpose.
What sets me apart is my personalized approach. I don’t just design for clients; I design with them. I take the time to understand their vision, mission, and message, ensuring their brand feels both professional and personal. My goal is to make every client feel confident and equipped to stand out in their industry.
Beyond design, I’m deeply passionate about mentorship and collaboration. I enjoy creating spaces and opportunities that help others grow — whether through workshops, community partnerships, or entrepreneurship programs for youth and aspiring business professional’s. The ultimate end goal is to help families build and maintain a legacy through utilizing their God-given talent and skills they have been blessed to tap into. Seeing others thrive because of the guidance, clarity, or creative spark I’ve helped ignite is what keeps me going.
At its core, Maxxtell Creations is about purpose-driven design. I believe every brand has a story worth telling, and my mission is to help bring that story to life — with creativity, strategy, and heart.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My creative journey is driven by a mission to deliver quality and far reaching graphic solutions that foster powerful connections. I believe creativity isn’t just about making things look good — it’s about making them mean something while providing a lasting impression. Every brand I help build is a reflection of identity, impact, and purpose. My goal is to continue using my creative gifts to uplift others, strengthen communities, and show that design can be both beautiful and transformative.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve had to unlearn is that not everyone is my ideal client — and that’s perfectly okay. In the beginning, I believed success meant saying “yes” to every opportunity and serving anyone who needed help. But over time, I realized that trying to be everything to everyone only diluted my creativity and purpose. I’ve learned that alignment is key and that I am not called to everyone. God does things decently and in order. The right clients value not just my skills/craft, but the heart and strategy behind my work. Embracing this truth has brought greater peace, stronger collaborations, and more meaningful impact through every project I take on.
