Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chad Rose. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Chad, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
When I first knew I wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally was when I was asked to do a logo for someone. I took a graphic design course online just to learn some things for myself. I then started combining drawing with graphics and use to just post things online. Someone I knew was starting a business and asked me if I could create a logo for them after seeing some of my work. I had never created a logo before but I didn’t tell them that. I was like “sure” and that is how it all started. I stepped out and just tried with no experience.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am an artist and graphic designer. I got into this industry from my love of art. I did just create stuff for myself but when I started getting asked to create things for other people I just kept going with it. I do logos, banners, designs, flyers, business cards, and different materials for individuals or for businesses. I also create graphics and images based on sports, movies, superheroes, video games, and other things that people can buy posters of. I try to set myself apart by giving the client exactly what they want. I will work with you until we make your vision come to life. I am most proud of doing a logo for a local barbershop and being able to drive by and see my work on a business. I want people know that I do my best. I am always trying to learn more and get better in everything that I do. I also want them to know that I put my heart into everything I do.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is being able to bring someone vision to life. It is a really good feeling to have someone that knows what they want but just cant make it. It feels great to see or hear their response when you get it just right.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My main goal is just to be the best I can be. I am always trying to learn new techniques. I am continually doing tutorials or watching professionals to improve my art and also put my own flavor to my work. I love to see improvement over time with my work.
