We were lucky to catch up with Ceshele Childres recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Ceshele thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?

I am here building a legacy of love. I am holding space and supporting your journey of learning to love yourself. Assisting in learning to love others; through the lense of forgiveness and compassion, learning to embrace all the parts of ourselves long forgotten or hidden away. I hope that when my time here is done I will be remembered as a catalyst of transformation. Helping people to become empowered, and awakened to their most fulfilling potential. Supporting their growth into the highest and best versions of themselves; fully healed and in love with all the pieces within.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I have always been on a journey to help people love themselves. Before I really understood how deep you must go to accomplish that, I worked as an esthetician for many years helping people to build confidence and beauty on the outside. Which indeed brought temporary joy and happiness on an outward level. After my own personal inner spiritual journey I knew there were wounds far past skin deep that needed healing before one could truly know and embrace all parts of themselves to become fully in love with who they were. Stripped of all titles, all prestige, all outward appearances, do you love what’s inside? Are you capable of truly embracing the inner you? No amount of makeover transformations was going to cover up or heal the interior view. That’s what drew me to becoming an energy alchemist, sacred educator, and coach. I now assist people in navigating their own personal healing journey, and honoring themselves fully in all ways.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

As I was working in the spa world I started to incorporate various energy modalities and therapies in my sessions. I would play music with healing frequency, utilize crystal implements, herbs and essential oils to balance the emotional and energetic body. As clients became more interested in my unique treatments and what I was doing, I saw an opportunity to help educate and provide guidance to those inquiries. Over time this blossomed into non-traditional ways to spread the crystal love and help begin the journey of self-care and self-love. I would custom blend gemstone infused skin and body products for my clients. Ingredients were chosen for the energetic and emotional composition my clients desired. That’s how Gem Fusion was born. As I received more interest in my product line and alignment services, I began to branch out of the spa box. I peddled my wares at local craft fairs and vendor markets and the business just kept expanding. In 2022 I finally left the spa world to focus solely on my new role. I now have several locations where people can receive sessions, attend unique classes and events, and shop with me!

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?

As my business has expanded I have delegated some manufacturing to other vendors. This is what is mostly supplied in the retail storefronts. Clients that receive sessions with me still receive personalized products that are handcrafted by me. This could be anything from a piece of crystal jewelry, an herbal bath blend, an essential oil roller, a tea, a ritual candle or anything in between! After a full consultation and attunement to their energy I create something that will compliment their healing and self love journey.
