Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Celina Close. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Celina , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The kindest things people have ever done for me are both the moments my students have trusted me to guide them, and the moments my mentors have guided me with the same love and belief. There’s something profoundly beautiful about being both a student and a teacher it’s a cycle of giving and receiving that has shaped every part of who I am.
My mentors saw something in me before I fully saw it myself. They held space for my unfolding, and in turn, I now hold that space for others. Every time I witness a student’s breakthrough or quiet moment of peace, I feel that lineage of kindness moving through us reminding me that we’re all just walking each other home.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m the founder of The Space Oakville, a studio created from my heart, rooted in yoga, connection, and self-discovery. My journey into this work began long before I ever stepped into a studio as a teacher. Yoga found me during a season of transition a time when I was being asked to slow down, listen, and return to myself. What started as a physical practice quickly became a path of healing, truth, and alignment.
Over the years, I realized that what I love most is guiding others home to themselves helping them remember their strength, their softness, and their wholeness. At my studio, we offer yoga/somatic movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork and retreats locally and internationally. These are all curated experiences that nurture both body and spirit. It’s not just about moving; it’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise.
What sets the studio apart is the energy it’s deeply intentional and accessible. When people walk through the doors, they feel seen, supported, and safe to be fully themselves. I’ve been told its like a big hug. Myself and my trusted teachers who share this space with me embody that same energy: grounded, heart led, and real. We’re not just teaching yoga; we’re holding space for transformation, community, and genuine connection.
I’m most proud of the community that’s grown here the people who show up for themselves and each other. Watching students form friendships, heal, and expand is the greatest reward. Every class, every workshop, every retreat, every conversation is a reminder that this work is so much bigger than just movement it’s about creating spaces for people to return to their authenticity.
At its core, my brand is about alignment living, teaching, and creating from a place of authenticity and love. I want people to know that this studio isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Whether you’re stepping on your mat for the first time or coming back to yourself after a long journey, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe my reputation has been built through alignment by staying true to my values and to the kind of energy I want to move through my teaching. I care deeply about who I collaborate with and what I say yes to. For me, it’s never been about chasing growth or popularity; it’s about integrity, connection, and creating experiences that feel real.
Every teacher, partner, and offering that becomes part of my work is chosen with intention. I align with people and projects that share the same heart those who lead with authenticity, kindness, and purpose. That consistency in energy builds trust, and I think people can feel that.
Over time, that’s what has shaped my reputation not just what I do, but how I do it. With care. With presence. With love. I believe when your actions and your energy align, your community naturally finds you.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has honestly been staying in flow doing my own inner work, staying aligned with my truth, and allowing the energy of that to ripple outward. When I’m grounded, inspired, and in my own rhythm, it naturally attracts the right people and opportunities.
I’ve learned that growth doesn’t have to come from constant pushing or chasing. It comes from balancing effort with ease showing up with intention, but also trusting the timing and allowing things to unfold organically. When your energy is clear and your work comes from an authentic place, people feel it.
For me, success has come through alignment rather than strategy. It’s the quiet confidence of knowing that when I’m in flow teaching from my heart, creating from inspiration, and leading with love the right community always finds its way in.
