Ceion , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

Last year in October I had the opportunity to audition for “Amateur Night at the Apollo” in New York. I’d sent in an audition video having no idea if they would accept or even listen. I was pretty nervous about it until on my birthday in November. I’d gotten a call from the Apollo saying I’d made it in! I’m gonna have the ability to perform on the same stage as countless legends in front of one of the toughest crowds in America. Not only did I perform, I won 1st place in the first round! I said this to say, take risks on yourself. Believe in your abilities and your gifts past what you may feel. There’s always so much more beneath the ground you see.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

The reason I’m an artist today is because of the love and appreciation for music life has instilled into me. It has felt like destiny. I’ve always followed the music because its made some of the best moments of my life. I’m a singer/songwriter who makes the kind of music you feel. Really feel. And I want to take the people on a journey as I evolve and grow as an artist and I lead to really talk about this life here.
I can say I’m most proud of the growth. The ability to learn from the past and move forward to better and new opportunities.
I want followers to know that even in your moments when you’re the most unsure you’re still strong. Don’t let your fear of how you feel cripple you. You can still do this. Through your insecurities, through how you may feel about yourself, through anything. You can still achieve what you want. It’s so possible. Believe past yourself.

: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My daughter. I have the true ability to give my daughter the life I never had through my gifts. Her not having to worry about anything I worried about as a child and for her to just live her life the way she feels is my main goal in life.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me it would be watching an idea that started as a thought come fully into existence and it coming out the way you wanted it to is just such a beautiful thing.
