Alright, Cedric thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Our mission here at New J Records is to bring the word of God the spirit of Jesus the Holy Ghost in today’s Hip Hop music. To not just save souls in the name of Jesus. But start a world wide revival to prepare Gods people to fight back with not just Gods word but show the power miracles from Gods word in clubs sport bars homes cars on radio pod cast all over the world.
Cedric, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Cedric Walker I’m from Fort Worth Texas born and raised in the DFW. My journey started one Wensday evening bible study at the potter’s house of Dallas listening to Bishop T.D Jakes. As he was preaching about who all know personally a lost soul that needs to be saved. I was lead by God to walk up on stage in the middle of the service to tell him I know a whole hood full of lost souls in my city that needs Jesus. Then I walked off stage back to my seat. Then he told the crowd what I said and after the service he told one of his members to come meet with him after church. Then after church I meet with him and he told me you have a great call on your life what do you want to do. I told him I wanted to rap the word of God. Then he said I see that calling in you. Then I said if you see it what is my name he went in the Bible and named me Mark 3:13 The Sons Of Thunder. That was in 1995 and that is when my journey and mission started. This is what sets me apart to take the gift God gave me to use for the Kingdom of Heaven not the Kingdoms of this world. To save and bring our Hip Hop Generation back to Jesus. New j Records also provide merchandise clothing Hats a pearl. The main thing and focus with my brand is to bring the lost back to Jesus.

A man who serve time through the prison correctional facility. Car jacked left dead in the park. Stabbed in the neck. Homeless sleeping in crack house in my car no job no money. No high school diploma or college degree at the time. Always beat up as a child. Never showed real love from a woman. Growing up with out a father. Is what illustrates my resilience to not give up on my calling to preach Gods word to those who are going through or came from what I have over came to be the man I am today.
