Cedric , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
That’s such a great question because I’ve thought about that many times. Looking back, I don’t think I would have started my business any sooner or later—I believe it happened at the exact time it was supposed to. Every season of my life prepared me for The Cedric Frazier Experience.
I officially launched my business after years of working in the hospitality and event industry, serving as Director of Catering and Director of Social Events. Long before that, I grew up in Saint George, South Carolina, surrounded by amazing cooks—my mother, Joann M. Frazier, and my grandmothers, Gertrude Martino and Annie Florence Gaddis Frazier. They taught me what it meant to cook with love, purpose, and soul. Those early lessons shaped everything I do today.
When I started my business, I was in a place where I had both the skill and the confidence to step out on faith. If I had started sooner, I don’t think I would’ve had the maturity or business knowledge to sustain it. And if I had waited any longer, I might’ve missed the moment God had already ordained for me.
So, no—I wouldn’t change the timing. Every challenge, every delay, and every lesson helped me build a stronger foundation. The Cedric Frazier Experience was born out of faith, hard work, and divine timing.

I’m Cedric Frazier, the owner and creative force behind The Cedric Frazier Experience, Luxuria, and Cedric J. Frazier Enterprises, LLC. I’m a private chef, luxury caterer, and culinary entrepreneur based in Texas. My journey into the culinary world began with a genuine passion for bringing people together through food and creating experiences that feel personal, elegant, and unforgettable.
Over the years, I combined hands-on experience with formal training in culinary arts and event planning. That foundation helped me develop a signature approach that blends southern comfort, refined technique, and luxury presentation — all designed to create a vibe like no other.
At The Cedric Frazier Experience, we specialize in boutique catering, private dining, and curated events that are customized to each client’s vision. Whether it’s an intimate dinner, a corporate function, or a large-scale celebration, my focus is on crafting unforgettable moments through flavor, hospitality, and attention to detail.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
I built this business on faith, grit, and a whole lot of hard work. There were no loans, no investors, and no financial backing — just me, Jesus, and determination. When I started The Cedric Frazier Experience, I didn’t have a big savings account or a long list of sponsors waiting to invest. What I did have was a vision, a gift, and a deep belief that God would make a way if I put in the work.
Every piece of equipment, every ingredient, every venue deposit — I funded it myself. Sometimes that meant making sacrifices, saying no to certain things so I could say yes to the dream. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to be resourceful, disciplined, and creative with what I had.
Looking back, I’m grateful I did it that way. Building from the ground up gave me a sense of ownership and appreciation that money can’t buy. It also deepened my faith — because there were times when it didn’t look like it would work, but God always provided right on time.
When I say The Cedric Frazier Experience is built on faith, it’s not just a figure of speech. It’s truly the foundation.


Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped me build my reputation was consistency, excellence, and authenticity. From day one, I made a promise to myself that every client — no matter the size of their event — would receive the same level of care, creativity, and professionalism. I treat every plate like it’s my name on it, because it is.
I also believe my faith plays a huge role in everything I do. I pray before every event and ask God to guide my hands and my heart. That spiritual foundation keeps me grounded and helps me approach each experience with humility and gratitude.
Word of mouth has been one of my biggest blessings. People can feel when something is genuine, and I think my clients connect with the heart behind the food. They don’t just taste it — they experience it. Over time, that has built a strong level of trust and loyalty that continues to grow.
Beyond the food, I believe it’s the energy. The Cedric Frazier Experience isn’t just about serving a meal — it’s about creating a vibe like no other. From presentation to service, we bring a sense of excellence and warmth that people remember long after the last bite.
