We recently connected with Cedric Frazier and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Cedric thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
I had weightless surgery in 2021 and December 2022 my client (husband and wife) surprised me with a peloton treadmill to help me stay on track with my improved health and fitness journey.

Cedric , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am, Cedric Frazier, owner of The Cedric Frazier Experience, a luxury traveling private chef and boutique caterer.
Born and raised on a farm in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina, I mastered the art of cooking and entertaining from Joann Martino Frazier (Mommy), Annie Florence Gaddis Frazier (Grandma) and Gertrude Murray Martino (Mother).
With over 25 years of diverse experience in the food and hospitality industry, I studied Food and Beverage Management at Johnson and Wales University and Events Management at George Washington University.
I have traveled extensively and had the honor of planning and serving delicious meals to many celebrities, Heads of State, Supreme Court Justices, Senators, Government Officials and Dignitaries.
Special moments are never complete without the presence of amazing food. The Cedric Frazier Experience provides impeccable catering and private chef services, deliciously crafted gourmet meals and a vibe like no other.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had to pivot several times over the years to adapt to changing circumstances and meet the evolving needs and demands of our clients and my personal life.. One particular instance that comes to mind is the COVID-19 pandemic, which had a significant impact on everyone.
I always had a full-time job. At the start of COVID I was working for a hotel at Senior Social Catering Manager. However, as the pandemic began to spread and restrictions on gatherings were put in place, we had to quickly adapt to the new reality, thus I was laid off until further notice. This was the perfect time for me to start my business full-time.
I was finally able to focus on my dreams and goals. I created The Cedric Frazier Experience. I worked with our clients to reimagine their events and find new ways to create meaningful and memorable experiences.
While it was a challenging time, pivoting to full-time entrepreneurship was the best thing I could have done.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I was never a social media kind of guy. Prior to 2020 I was never on social media. First and foremost, I focus on creating high-quality content that resonated with my target audience. This meant posting eye-catching photos and videos of our events, highlighting our unique and creative approach to catering, and sharing tips and insights that my followers would find valuable. I also made sure to engage with our followers and respond to their comments and questions in a timely and friendly manner.
To expand my reach, I utilized hashtags and collaborated with other accounts in our industry, as well as complementary industries. We also participated in online communities related to catering and private chefs and shared our expertise in those forums.
As my following grew, I made sure to stay consistent in my posting and engagement, ensuring that my followers always had fresh and interesting content to engage with. I also experimented with different types of content, such as Instagram stories and reels, to keep things fresh and engaging.
For those just starting out, my advice would be to focus on creating high-quality content that speaks to your target audience. Be consistent in your posting and engagement, and don’t be afraid to experiment with different types of content and tactics to see what resonates with your audience.
Also, it’s important to remember that building a social media following takes time and patience. It’s not going to happen overnight, so stay committed to your strategy and keep working to provide value to your followers. Finally, always be authentic and true to your brand’s values and personality – this will help you build a loyal and engaged audience that will stick with you over the long-term.
