We recently connected with Cecilia Rivera and have shared our conversation below.
Cecilia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to help and advise foreign people to set up the right fiscal and corporate structure for their businesses.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I am an attorney from Mexico, graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Tec de Monterrey). I moved to USA 16 years ago and after seeing many people interested in expanding or opening new businesses here without any knowledge of how to do it, I decided to start providing advisory on what are the different entities and what, based on their needs, is the best corporate set up for them.
On 2016 I was invited to become a partner at a Law firm in Mexico, GLZ Abogados and we have since been working together, providing the best possible service to our clients in both countries.
Currently we have offices in several cities in Mexico, USA and Spain.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me is always referrals from current or previous clients. Which is very rewarding since it means that I’ve been helpful to them.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Honesty. Not selling what the client wants to hear if it’s not possible to make it happen.
