Hi Cecile, thanks for joining us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
Growing up as a first-generation American with Haitian immigrant parents, I was inspired by their resilience and drive to succeed. My mother who is a physician had a balanced a demanding career while still making time to instill in me the values of hard work and perseverance. Watching her dedication to her patients and her family taught me the importance of passion and commitment. My dad started in this country as a cab driver in NYC and created a career and life for himself after moving to Florida.Together, they showed me that thriving against the odds is possible with focus and determination. Their journey continues to inspire my creativity and ambition every day.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I got into fashion and marketing because I’ve always loved storytelling and creative expression. Inspired by my mom’s ability to balance a professional career with style, I carved out a space where I could merge my passions.
As an influencer, I combine my love for fashion with my marketing expertise, helping brands not only showcase their products but strategically reach their audience. What sets me apart is my ability to create campaigns that are both authentic and impactful, blending creativity with business strategy to drive real results. I love to work with fashion brands as a face of campaigns as well as on the back end.
What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
Yes, my side hustle did become my main business! It all started when I began taking pictures of my outfits and posting them online just for fun—and maybe to score some new clothes. I never imagined it could turn into a monetized endeavor until brands started reaching out and offering to pay me for collaborations.
As things grew, I started creating User-Generated Content (UGC) for brands and realized I could leverage my marketing expertise to take these partnerships further. I began building business relationships with the brands I was working with, offering to market their products through other avenues beyond just influencer content. That shift turned what started as a fun hobby into a thriving, full-time business.

I keep in touch with clients by maintaining open and consistent communication. Whether it’s through regular check-ins, sharing campaign updates, or just touching base to brainstorm new ideas, I make sure they feel valued and heard. I also go the extra mile to deliver results that align with their vision while exceeding expectations.
To foster brand loyalty, I focus on building genuine relationships. I take the time to understand each brand’s unique story and values, which helps me create authentic content and campaigns that truly resonate. I really try to prioritize transparency, delivering on promises, and keeping my client relationships as friendships even more than just business relationships.
