Cassy , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
There are many people who want to be fit and healthy with the guidance of an expert but who do not want to go to a gym. I started Find the Core Fitness to serve that need. From new moms, to senior citizens, to entrepreneurs and people who work from home, we serve a wide range of fitness goals. We make our clients feel comfortable and confident! Whether you have a home gym, a few feet in your living room, or even an apartment fitness center we travel to our clients for the most efficient workouts!
Our trainers are creative and can work in any space. We keep the exercises fun, but effective and safe. We build relationships and take a holistic approach to improve your overall wellness.

I want people of all ages and abilities to learn how to move their bodies to feel strong and empowered. I want to teach people confidence and that healthy feels good, great even! I like to provide as much education about health and fitness as possible so that my clients feel empowered and their fitness becomes part of a healthy lifestyle that they really miss when they go without!
We offer in-home and virtual personal, buddy and group training. We serve all fitness goals but we specialize in senior fitness, rehabilitation, corporate wellness and pre and postnatal. Our sessions are one hour long and are completely customized to each client’s goals and health circumstances.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
We take time with each client to learn about them and their life. We wait to learn as many details as we can before building a program for them. And we are flexible, we can change a workout or pivot whenever needed. We get that life is busy and gets in the way of our best intentions!
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Personally, as a now 32 year old female and mom of 2, I’ve had to learn that health if for the longterm. Sure, there are crash diets and crazy workout routines that can have an immediate result. But long term those really can do more damage than good. It isn’t all about how you look, but being confident in your body and loving how you look is important. That doesn’t come from a certain clothing size, it comes from an inner peace when you are healthy overall that leads to a love of your body and feeling great every single day. It sounds cheesy but its true and we can help someone feel that good!
