Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cassie Krahenbuhl . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Cassie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
On our farm we hope to introduce as many families to the Arabian and Half Arabian horse as possible. So far this year we have had four different families aquire and Arabian or Half Arabian horse and enjoy the opportunities these wonderful creatures have to offer from the stable to the the show ring.
Cassie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My husband Patrick Krahenbuhl started training back in 2015 after growing up showing focusing on American Saddlebred horses as well as a variety of other breeds. I joined him training and teaching right about when covid hit since then we have grown immensely! Being here in Holden MO the majority of the population knows about American Quarter Horses and Rodeo events but had no clue what the Arabian Horse has to offer and we have greatly enjoyed showing our local community the benefits of this breed.
Together we have been teaching and training the wide variety of disciplines from Ranch Riding, Trail, Saddleseat, Western Pleasure, Driving, Huntseat, and Jumping. Between our show teams we have gone to a multitude of local shows as well as going to two National Championship shows where our horses brought home several top awards. We also attended Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show (Scottsdale Arizona in February) which is easily the largest Arabian horse show in the world and is truly a candy land for horse lovers no matter what breed you prefer.
Our farm has grown so much we’re now needing to add on as our waiting list grows as well as adding to our staff. We now have several stallions here that compete and are ready to make their mark in the breeding shed as well. We’re expecting several foals next year and very much looking forward to their arrival.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Our farm has a large group of Instagram followers and out TikTok is rapidly growing as well. It is so important to use social media and we live both the show room ready look we can offer as well as the behind the scenes day to day it can really let our customers current and future as well as fans of our horses see life in our stable from a variety of ways.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Patrick and I grew up showing horses together as our older sisters competed against one another but we were both quite shy and never talked while we competed against one another. It wasn’t until we both happened to be working together as adults at TSC that we hit it off.
