We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cassaundra Beard a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Cassaundra, appreciate you joining us today. Can you share a customer success story with us?

After just two years in business, I’ve been able to help women achieve a regular menstrual cycle, reduced menstrual pain, control heavy bleeding, and even get pregnant! Here is a Success Story right from a dear Client of mine:

“Hey there! I came to you for my first steam in December of 2021. I did the fertility steam and haven’t been able to come back because at the end of that month I found out I was pregnant! Just wanted to let you know and say thank you and that I’ll be back when I drop this baby!!”

Cassaundra, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Cassaundra Beard is a 35 year old single black female on a mission! She acquired her Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts & Communications at Florida State University in 2009 and relocated to Tampa, FL in 2012. She continued her education to acquire her Masters of Science Human Resource Management at Argosy University in 2015.

In February 2020, unknowingly at the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Cassie set off in a new role as a Vaginal Steam Facilitator. “Vaginal Steaming simply changed my life! I just wanted to help women achieve painless menstrual cycles, more enjoyable intimacy, and have pride in their bodies! For me, V-Steams proved to be a safe and natural way to experience all of the above!”, said Cassie.

On June 3, 2020, Cassie and a close family member ventured to open their first ‘V’ Spa location called Pink Butterfly Bush, LLC. Unfortunately, soon after opening, the family-business relationship ended in October of 2020. However, having already overcome all of the challenges that the Pandemic presented early on, Cassie saw this bump in the road as another opportunity and was willing to take on the role as sole owner and operator of the Pink Butterfly Bush, LLC!

Since then, the Pink Butterfly Bush V-Steam Lounge has flourished. Cassie continues to provide a safe, discreet, sanitary, as well as, sensual and tranquil, space where women can enjoy the ancient practice of Vaginal Steaming in a classy & contemporary way. Cassie dedicates herself to giving each of her clients the ‘Yoniscape Experience’, complete with a cup of her Handcrafted Herbal Tea, Aromatherapy, the perfect pink lighting, and soothing music. She also offers a premium Feminine Care Product line and is preparing to launch Yoni Steam School, a Vaginal Steam Certification Course!

Cassie believes all women should “Pamper their Pink”, embracing the idea that their vagina should be treated just as good as, if not better, their hair, nails, or anything else that may get “pampered” on a regular basis. Cassie intends to continue to educate, serve, and be accessible to all women who want to begin their journey to a happier Vagina!

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

I begin communicating with my clients from the moment they book an appointment with me. Upon confirmation, I give them a warm welcome, set expectations, and present guidelines. After their appointment, I always send a big ‘Thank You’ and share tips. From there, I send monthly Newsletters by email and special offers by text message. I enjoy rewarding loyal customers and giving away freebies here and there, as well! I’m always either educating, thanking, or encouraging my customer base!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Quality Service, Respect, and Education are what I believe have helped me build my reputation in the market. I find joy in treating every woman that comes through my doors like the Queens they are and I believe they can feel that. Respect & Privacy of the client was built into the foundation of the business. From the way they are provided with everything they need to the way they are tended to during and after their service, the client comes first throughout it all. I also believe the way I educate my clients makes a positive difference in their overall self-care and feminine wellness.
