Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cassandra Moll. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Cassandra, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope to build a legacy that my three little girls will find inspiring. I hope they learn nothing is impossible if they believe in a dream and invest in themselves. I’m not expecting to change the world, but if I can influence my little corner of my world, that will be enough.
Cassandra, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a hockey wife and a girl mom of three children, five and under. With a background in education, I’ve always been interested in writing and the influence that words can have on your life (quotes, lyrics, etc.), but I never saw that translating into becoming a contemporary romance author. Last summer, I sat down to write down memories about my father who passed away a few years ago and instead, the story of Beautifully Broken, my debut novel, was born.
The books that I write are full of love and angst and a sprinkling of humor. I like to think that they’re heartwarming stories that are not only enjoyable to read but also touch your soul.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of what I do is hearing how the stories I have written, comprised of my words alone, touch others’ lives. I’ve heard that my stories make people feel seen, are encouraging, and take people to a world that gives them a reprise from the struggles of everyday life.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I truly enjoy writing so much. For me, it is the one thing that I do for myself. As a mother of three young children, I’ve found that it is so easy to get lost in the world of parenting. Writing stories and publishing books has become an outlet for me and a way to invest in myself.
