We recently connected with Cash The Nailologist and have shared our conversation below.
Cash, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
My clients know that I appreciate them by how I treat their hands and feet. When they book the first appointment I ask them questions to get to know their lifestyle and routine, that way I can create a regimen that works for them. When the follow my regimens they see results and they keep coming back for more.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a 33-year-old professional manicurist with a passion for healthy nail care, hand and foot treatments, and hand-painted nail art. I’ve been fully dedicated to my clients since April 2020, where I embarked on my journey to help individuals achieve beautiful and well-maintained nails. As a specialist in healthy nail regimens, I prioritize the overall wellness of my clients’ nails. I am well-versed in techniques and practices that promote nail health, ensuring that your nails not only look stunning but also remain strong and resilient.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Opening for business is just the start, maintaining and growing a business is its own roller coaster. I moved into my first suite November of 2020, I had to put in major work and a pretty penny to become functional, then in less than a year it was time for me to move a rebuild my brand, then once I got comfortable in my 2nd suite I hit a year only to be forced to move a third time! So what I have learned is that as a business owner it will always be constant adjustment to be made. You can never fold under pressure you must keep evolving, and moving with the current, because the moment you stop moving it will carry you further away.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn was to focus on one thing at a time. As an entrepreneur there is no such thing. I had to become comfortable with juggling multiple jobs and task and making sure I carrying all of them to the finish line.
