We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cartier Lopez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Cartier thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
There’s so many ways to express creativity and allow people to understand you through your art work. As a Influencer, it’s important to me that I share some of my personal values with everyone. This is how I connect with people, grow my audience, and connect with my media family!
I work on many projects but the most important to me are holiday photo shoots. It’s exciting to get everyone in the holiday spirit and at the same time show off my creativity and inspiring ideas!
Holiday photo shoots are meant to be warm, cheerful, and give a positive message overall. It’s exciting and educational to celebrate different holidays, research to understand them, and see people’s reaction to the pictures. Some people are just excited that their holiday is being celebrated outside of their culture!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a Influencer that gives inspiration for fashion, lifestyle, learning, and play time! I’m just three years old and bilingual, I’m a business owner, and a model.
There’s lots of youth that look up to me because I show them ways to be positive and productive at such a early age. The media display so much negativity, I decided to be the one that does something about it. My goal was to make at least one little boy or girl smile, make a impact on a parents life or daily routine, or be a relatable influence to someone.. that one turned into hundres and one day it’ll be thousands!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Cartier is getting the chance a lot of adults wish they had. Having my daughter at 19 didn’t stop me from following my dreams like others thought it would. People told me starting a family so early would slow me down, I had to stand up and show them how my family gave me a extra push! This is the reason why I showed my daughter she can have a dream and accomplish it no matter how big or how young!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
It’s rewarding to see others relate to your work, interact with it, and appreciate you for it. It’s motivating!
