We recently connected with Carrie Dean and have shared our conversation below.
Carrie , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Life is about taking risk. That one simple risk can change your life forever. With starting a new business it’s a risk but on the back end it is very rewarding. I can remember when I first started out my business in 2020 I took a risk and went hard at my location and it changed my life forever with faith all things are possible. It turned out to be the best decision I ever made no one believed in me but me and it was something I would do again and again..

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am the CEO of Xclusive Elite boutique started out in 2020 at first it was just an idea then that idea turned into execution. I had everyone asking me how I did it and eventually taught a class to educate others that anything is possible. Quality clothes at quality prices we just don’t sell clothes here we give you an experience that makes you want to level up. I’m a firm believer that energy lies where you shop at and what you are connected to. Build the brand from the ground up, no handouts, just applicable hustle it takes hard work, dedication and ambition. My advice to anyone is to never give up and follow your dreams it’s never too late.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building an audience on social media isn’t easy consistency is the main thing to focus on. You don’t have to be popular, you don’t have to show your face you have to be consistent. Consistency beats talent. a good brand sells itself. You have to have something that the world needs. My advice to anyone building social media presence is to be patient and presentation is everything.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients came from word of moth meaning clients would be out advertising your brand for you. I would ask a new client how were you referred they would say I saw someone out with your brand on and it would go from there. Also social media was a tool that really grew my clientele and website. Good products sell theyself..
