Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Carolina Irais . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Carolina , thanks for joining us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
Something we do differently than other industry professionals is how we approach the entire process of capturing the picture perfect wedding day, while ensuring we have created a relationship with the client in a way that lets us document them In the best way possible!
We love what we do so much and our work reflects just that!
Carolina , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am Carolina, Wedding photographer in the Sunshine State and Puerto Rico. My passion for photography started early on at the age of 16 while taking some electives. 15 years later I am still doing what I love every single day! . Capturing love stories one wedding at a time.
Consider me a professional 3rd wheeler! Our work and mission is to document those raw and genuine, once in a lifetime moments while ensuring our clients are having an amazing experience before and after their day.
We provide wedding photography for the in-love and we believe all love is love, period! Our work and process strives to be as inclusive as well, as we personally know how important that can be for our clients.
From inquiry to delivery, we are with you every step of the way!
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
When it comes to social media, it’s all about staying consistent, having consistent work and lots of engagement while showing your value.
First and foremost, place yourself as a professional in your industry within the platform and provide all of the value behind it. Showcase your knowledge while bringing more light into what you do and how! People like to see the less than perfect behind the scenes.
Create an ideal client – name them and describe them. Then when creating content for your social media, talk to them directly.
When you try to reach every single person, you’ll be reaching less people than when speaking to your one ideal client. Remember the saying “build it and they will come” this applies within social media as well!
Niche niche niche! This one’s super important and goes hand in hand with our prior tip. Go deep into your category of business and find what drives you.
Then show up every day as that! Your social media audience will thank you.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Creating the most value possible into the services I am offering. Problem solve for your client and make it easy for them to access you. It’s so important to share our story and the “why” behind our business and how to best serve your client!
