Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Carolina Fisch. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Carolina, thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Well, how do I begin. Risk taking definitely takes a lot of courage and that’s something I had to find within. When I first started my modeling career, acceptance is what I searched for. I knew being in front of a camera was something that would take courage and confidence. I had to take the risk. I couldn’t allow my thoughts take away something that I love so much. Being able to express yourself and share a story through a photo brought me to the realization that becoming a story teller with photos was more than just modeling. Moving forward, I…. unfortunately took a break from the modeling industry and began to focus a little more on photography. I now do my own photography and being able to be in control of my own stories to share in a picture have fulfilled exactly what I was in search of.Acceptance of myself.I am grateful for the growth of what taking that risk has taught me. Now, I believe that we all have it in us..YOU can be anything all you have to do is take the risk!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, my name is Carolina Fisch and I am 30 years old. I am a wife, mom, and well …model. I first got into the modeling industry back in 2018. So many opportunities opened up for me. I filmed a commercial and was able to get to meet new people in the same industry at the time.Being published and filming a commercial was one of the most greatest accomplishments I had ever had. I was open with the opportunity to be able to work with photographers and it was one of my favorite parts about modeling. Mostly, because each of them have their own ways of capturing a part of you that you don’t realize is there. The confidence it brings you when you see the art of yourself once it’s captured. It’s breathtaking. As a mom I’ve had to balance it all. But, having the support of my husband made it just that much more worth it for me. A dream I once had as a little girl was finally coming to life and not only because of the photos that were taken of me but because I could just feel like I could do anything. I believed in myself. I enjoyed this part of my life and I felt grateful to everyone that was there to watch my growth in the industry.I hope one day I can get back to modeling but for now, I am still learning in discovering who I am as an individual. For now, I am focusing a bit on photography. I want to thank all of the photographers who helped my growth as a model. I could never be more grateful.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist is my growth in the industry. I learned so much from others sharing the same creative things that I did and watching them grow in the industry made it just that much more rewarding for me.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I think overall just finding the right team and people who you can feel completely comfortable around can be difficult but one of the resources I wish I knew about earlier during my career as a model is finding the right groups that share the same things as me. It will be hard sometimes and risks will have to be taken but as long as you believe in yourself you can do anything. So, keep going!
