Even media and especially movies love to gloss over nitty, gritty details that went into that middle phase of your business – after you started but before you got to where you are today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. Can you talk to us about your scaling up story – what are some of the nitty, gritty details folks should know about?

When I discovered my passion for working with balloons, I knew I wanted to become the best. Creativity has always come naturally to me, but I also understood the importance of learning from others. So, I immersed myself in the world of balloon industry, following experienced artists on Instagram and taking lessons from various instructors.

That journey eventually led me to The Balloon King—a true master of the craft. He not only trained me exceptionally well but also invested in me in ways I never expected. His mentorship has been invaluable, and today, I’m proud to call him one of my best friends.

I’ve always had a creative spirit, but my journey into balloon artistry began when I discovered how much I loved working with balloons. What started as a simple interest quickly turned into a passion, and I knew I wanted to master the craft. I began researching and learning from some of the best balloon artists on Instagram, taking lessons from multiple instructors to refine my skills. Eventually, I found The Balloon King, an incredible mentor who invested in my growth and helped shape me into the artist I am today.

I specialize in creating stunning balloon designs for all types of events, from birthdays and weddings to corporate events and grand openings. The Struggle of Creating Content While Wearing So Many Hats

Social media is such a powerful tool for growing a business, and I know how important it is to stay consistent with posting and creating content. But I’ll be honest—it’s something I struggle with. As a single mom, I’m constantly juggling a million things: taking care of my children, managing my home, handling school, working on events, responding to emails and calls, creating estimates, and still finding time to design and install balloon setups. Adding social media content creation on top of it all can feel overwhelming.

I love sharing my work and connecting with my audience, but sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day. It’s a challenge to balance everything while making sure I’m still delivering high-quality work and giving my clients the best experience. I’m learning to give myself grace and find ways to make content creation easier—whether it’s batching content, scheduling posts in advance, or simply reminding myself that showing up, even imperfectly, is better than not at all.
