We recently connected with Carole Ann Ealy and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Carole Ann thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
I came up with the name for Seaboard from the street that I grew up on. To me, It represents my passion for surfing and skating, and my love for the beach.
Carole Ann , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Seaboard Mobile Bar is a private event bartending service. I offer my vintage horse trailer bar or just bar services for any type of private event. I have worked in the hotel industry for many years. I decided I could take my passion and knowledge of banquet bartending then, Turn it into something more unique. I started with a 47 year old trailer that was sitting in a field and made it my own after a few weeks of hard core sanding and painting! I’m most proud of my charming drinks, quick service, and vintage vibe.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I started my social media presence by doing styled shoots and partnering with other local vendors. I would style the bar area for those amazing photos you see on social media to build my portfolio until I have enough events booked.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Instagram and word of mouth. The mobile Bar business is still only a couple years old. It is fun going to each event and having someone say “ wow how amazing is this!”
