We were lucky to catch up with Carmela Cox recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Carmela , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

It all started with me receiving a deck of angel oracle cards. To this day I can’t remember how I even got these cards. I don’t remember if I bought them or if I received them as a gift, but these cards started my wonderful journey of connecting with my angels! I just loved how these cards offered gentle messages along with having beautiful artwork of the angels. So I began my deep dive of learning all about them. I read books, took classes, listened to a number of podcasts, watched videos and studied with teachers who taught me all about angels. I couldn’t get enough! I learned who they were, how to receive messages from them, how they can help me during challenging times and most importantly, how to incorporate them into my everyday life. I learned that we are not here all alone. We are always being supported, guided and encouraged by our angels. And it’s all done in this gentle, loving manner. Who wouldn’t want to live life like that?!

After studying for some time about connecting with my angels and having them be a part of my daily life, I decided this is what I wanted to do with my life! – this was my life’s purpose, what my soul was calling for me to do. To teach people how to connect with their angels!

Carmela , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am a lover of angels! I love connecting with my angels and my intuition and have experienced such wonderful transformations in my life, that I just knew I had to teach other people how they too can experience these amazing transformations!

As an Angel Intuitive Coach I’m so grateful that I get to share the techniques, lessons, and tools that have helped me along my journey with others so they too can experience living their true authentic life, going after their soul’s calling, finding the courage to take that first step, learning how to not let fear/doubt stop them from living their dreams. I teach people how to have a life filled with letting go of their limitations, having confidence in achieving their desires, surrendering and trusting their angels to guide them along their best path, all while feeling a sense of calm and knowing. And… I get to be there supporting them, cheering them on, guiding them step by step on their new journey.

Through my angel intuitive readings, I connect with angels for guidance on assisting people with their life journey. These readings help people to connect with their personal angelic team, rediscover their life’s passions, have fulfilling relationships, and answer any specific questions they may have about their finances and career, or anything else they may be wondering about. And the best part is because I’m connecting to their angels, all of the messages are loving, gentle and supportive.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn that sometimes the way I envisioned a particular goal of mine is not going to look that way. And that that is OK. That I might have a certain goal in mind and I might think that working towards that goal is going to look and feel a certain way. But i’ve learned that it doesn’t always work out like that. Certain challenges may arise. Or that the way I thought it would go wasn’t part of the journey I was supposed to go on. So I’ve learned to fully trust the process. To know that the way I envisioned my plan might be completely different than what may actually happen. For me to trust so much in the universe that I know that whatever path I‘m on is the correct one. That while I may be going through some challenges that that’s part of my beautiful journey. Me learning more about myself and discovering aspects of myself I may not have learned before if I wasn’t on this path. So even though things don’t look the way that I thought it might or the way I thought it “should”, I’ve learned to let go of that expectation and to fully trust what the universe has in store for me because I know that it’s always in my best interest.

Have you ever had to pivot?

I am all for going after your passion. I also understand that you may feel a little scared or unsure of how it’s all going to work out. But I want to share that when you feel connected to yourself, tapped into your intuition, connected with your angels, your desire to go after what your soul is calling for you to do, just takes over. It’s so much greater than the fear.

After doing my business part time for a few years, I received the message that “you’re going to do your business full-time now.” Now this was not part of the plan that I had! I mean, I knew that I wanted to do my business full-time, but that was later on down the line. So when I was looking for a new job, the thought didn’t even cross my mind that now was the time for me to go all in with my business. I just thought I’d be going into another job working for someone else within the metaphysical space.

But the universe had another plan for me. A much bigger, greater plan than I ever thought at the time. But I received the message that now is the time, you’re going to do this. And so I said OK. And I’m so glad I did!

This is all to say that when you’re really tapped in, you have no other option but to listen. That you know you’re going to be supported and shown what to do each step of the way. And even if there are moments of doubt, or fear and uncertainty, that your trust in the universe and your angels are so much greater than that. That your desire to go after what’s truly in your heart, is so much greater than that fear, that you have no choice but to go for it.
