Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Carla Andreina Ponceleon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Carla Andreina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
There’s two parts to this question because I have truly fallen in love with my career (Marketing/Graphic Design/Social Media Management) as well as, health & fitness.
My career has been a blessing throughout the years. I graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale 2011, and I have been working in the field still to this day. I have had the opportunity of using this career in every type of field, from clothing to food, to the entertainment industry, etc. It has its challenges and changes throughout the years as well, but it is all part of growth and becoming better at what you love. Experience, trial and error, asking questions, surrounding yourself with people that have more knowledge than you, etc – it has all been part of how I’ve remained loving my career.
Health & fitness has always been my passion as well. I believe it is so important for all of us to have some sort of knowledge when it comes to this and how it works for our own bodies, more so now a days with everything that has been going on. I love surrounding myself with trainers, doing research, studying nutrition, etc to become more knowledgeable for my own health and those around me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Hey y’all! My name is Carla Andreina. I am originally from Venezuela, but currently living in South Florida. We moved to USA about 20 years ago, to build a better life for ourselves and our families. I have always been passionate about anything that has to do with designing and clothing, so once it became time to pick a career, it definitely was easy to pick. Once I graduated from my Graphic Design major in 2011, I had the opportunity of becoming part of plenty of different fields that have helped me grow and gain more knowledge in my career throughout the years. Also alongside the years, I became very passionate about health and fitness. I have been using this not only for myself, but also to help those around me. I do not play about the gym, haha. Not only that, but also nutrition is very important. As we’re told, this whole fitness journey is 80% what you intake (nutrition) and 20% workouts. It is something I definitely plan on following for the rest of the years. :)
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I feel like one of the most important things to keep in mind throughout the years of being part of this field is to always be yourself through AND through. No matter what, and believing in yourself even if you may feel nobody else does.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
One of my greatest gifts, and what drives me the most to be the best I can be is my family. My mom, sister, grandparents … these have been role models to me and I love them dearly. Their sacrifices and love has shown me that anything is possible if we go after it!
