CARL J., thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

My mission is ending racism! The reason why it is a meaningful mission is because, there is too much hatred in our society as it selates to race!
Since i have been discriminated against for many years for being black, i have a passion for ending racism!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Carl Banks Jr. I am 78 years of age. I was born in Los Angeles , California. I served in the U.S. Navy for six years.. I have six years of college with one degree. I have 5 grown children. I am a writer of 5 books. One of my books is entitled
COLORS steps to eliminate racism which is my best book because it deals with a universal problem of hatred, race and racism.
Being a Blackman means that you have to fight hard to challenge racism. I have been fighting over sixty years in dealing with
trying to eliminate racism. We can sell books and my program that gives us a great solution to ending racism. The problems that i solve for my clients is to inspire them to promote the talent that is within them!
What sets me apart from others is my program that is not out there in society! This program makes me very unique and you will be able to see the brilliance in me! What makes me most proud is the fact that i have been fighting intellectually to eliminate an atrocious problem when i have not received any help. When i receive the credit through my writings and my books and my program, they will know by seeing the results of what i have accomplished. I have created tee shirts with my message. How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

I worked for the city of Los Angeles for 30 years and then i retired. I have spent upwards of 50,000.00 with 5 books and marketing. I also financed other seminars and webinars and other projects. I am still spending money on marketing, business cards and promoting my brand!

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I wish that i would have known sponsors or investors who were willing to invest in my projects!
