We recently connected with Carissa Garcia and have shared our conversation below.
Carissa, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
The first time I did makeup was when I was 14 I started getting better at makeup and I did my sisters makeup for her first baby shower

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Since I was a little girl I have loved how makeup looked and how it complimented everyone’s features and I fell in love with the art. Ever since then I’ve been obsessed with getting better and perfecting my craft and I’ve learned many new techniques and I’m always open to learning more and suggestions. I’m also very good at hair and nails as well and have done some of my best work recently I’ve had some rough patches over the course of my career but it’s been a amazing journey and I hope to continue doing what I love

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I’ve been doing a lot of parties and makeup for school dances and such the most rewarding part of that experience is seeing the girls all dressed up feeling so confident and happy and so excited for their night it’s just so nice to know I helped make their night perfect

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
I haven’t learned anything about that but I’d like to
