Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Carissa Archibong. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Carissa , thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Our goal has always been to showcase ‘The Art of People’. As Sean and I grew as photographers, we realized how much we loved capturing and cementing the beauty of people in history. We want to take photography to a higher level and give our clients the ability to shine at their highest level as well through our photos.



Carissa , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Carissa Archibong and I do photography with my husband Sean Archibong. I started my photography journey while completing my senior year of college. My husband also started photography around the same time and once I moved to the same town, we starting doing our craft together and building our own brand (CS Visuals).
We provide 3 types of photography services: Weddings, Fashion, and Brands.
One of the goals of CS Visuals is to showcase everyone in their best light while capturing the true art of people. We want our clients to see their photos and feel proud and love of themselves and who they are. We feel set apart from an average photographer because we are able to bring two perspectives. Booking a shoot with CS Visuals is essentially booking two photographers in one. We are able to work together to capture shots from two different creative view points and build off of each other to get the absolute best shots that are full of creativity.


Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Keeping in touch with clients is essential as this can easily become the foundation of your business. Fostering good solid relationships with your clients is important because it allows them to be able to say “hey I found a really great photographer that I know will capture the style that I want to go for and I trust them to get it done right the first time”. Not only does this allow you to have a continuous client that you know will always come back for your services but it is also a great way to get testimonials and referrals.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is having the ability to visualize your ideas and being able to transform these ideas into tangible artwork throughout the years. Being able to see your growth as an artist is very rewarding because you are able to see where you started versus where you currently are. This growth doesn’t just happen but through hard work and struggles along the way, you’ll be able to see how far you have come. If I wasn’t able to see growth in my work, I would know that I’m not working hard enough to get to that next level. It is a good way to keep each other accountable as we move towards bettering ourselves and our photography brand.
