Caprianna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you manage your own social media?
I handle all of my social media and marketing. I enjoy creating the content and seeing it come to life before my eyes.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Hello everyone my name is Caprianna Bethune. I am a proud cake decorator in Douglasville, GA and am truly passionate about every product I make for my clients. The products I provide are custom cakes, cupcakes, and any sweet treat you could think about. My services is to help families and friends celebrate any occasion with sweet treats.
I have always enjoyed baking and decorating since I was 12 years old. When teachers would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said a pastry chef because I knew I would enjoy the process of becoming a chef.
I finally took the risk and started my business in 2020 and haven’t looked back. There have been some learning curves such as, inflation with pricing for ingredients, but I still enjoy every minute of pleasing my clients with sweet treats.
I am most proud of providing products to film productions in Atlanta, Ga. My growth has made me work even harder to get my name out there, so one day I am able to hand my business over to my future children.
I want future clients to know that I appreciate them for reaching out, asking someone for my information, and leaving reviews. I will always be passionate about what I serve to my clients and they will see that in the custom products I provide.,
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When I first started my business, honestly I had to figure out how to properly learn how to use the marketing resources on the different platforms. I even followed social media gurus to see how they posted video’s and how they engaged with there audiences. The first 6 to 8 videos I posted were considered my trial videos . I wanted to see how the market engaged with the content I posted and wanted feedback on what I could do for newer posts. The best advice I can give is post all of your content even the ones that are sitting in your drafts. You never know what the market would actually be drawn to and if you don’t post you can’t grow with your marketing.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
There isn’t a right or wrong way to grow your clientele. You must be willing to be vulnerable and get your brand out there. You may ask what does that mean? It means post on social media, ask a mom/dad shop to leave business cards, go to vendor events, go to business expos, and have business cards handy for future clients. Growing is the hardest part, but once your name is out people will talk about you in rooms you aren’t even in.
