We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Candice Meeks a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Candice thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I have always loved art ever since I was a kid. Painting at home afterwork prompted me to think about opening a paint and sip business in my neighborhood.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
The best thing I ever did was take a chance and invest in my dreams. I took an idea and created a successful business in the neighborhood I grew up in and provided a safe place for families and friends to bond and have a good time! We offer art parties for children and adults, space rental, pop up shops, and different art party themes, such as: karaoke and paint, date night, singles mingle, and much more.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
They can support by purchasing at from local artists and by bringing family and friends together to participate in creative events.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Seeing how excited my customers are when they see the finish product of something they created.
