We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Candi Cain a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Candi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

To be successful honestly you really have to be consistent. Consistency is key in all things and you have to change your mindset. No matter who is against you , you really have to believe in yourself. It’s take dedication.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Hi everyone ! My name is Candi.
I am really a Jill of all trades. I have an online business where I sell handmade hair growth oil, I also make Pre-made templates on etsy for businesses and I make logos and journals. At the same time I do content creation for brands. I think that’s what sets me apart for others I really can do just anything, modern day super woman. Right now, I am really learning consistency and how to balance all these talents I have. To some it may seem like I do to much, but to me I just want to do more. I really want to be successful at everything I do. That’s why I am in the industry of being self made.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I’ve come to understand the significance of refraining from comparing my personal and professional journey with that of others. It’s often tempting to measure my progress against that of other content creators or business owners, but I am determined to break this habit. I acknowledge that my journey is entirely unique and that I may need to exert more effort and pursue different strategies to achieve my goals. Practicing patience is crucial because success doesn’t materialize overnight, and I must have faith in my own timing. I firmly believe that everything will fall into place when the moment is right.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

I’ve set myself the ultimate goal of living life on my own terms. Tragically, both of my parents have passed away, but I am determined to fulfill the promise I made to them – to make them proud. Despite facing numerous obstacles that have proven to be more challenging than I anticipated, my unwavering ambition is to carve out a life that truly reflects my desires. I yearn to explore the world, immerse myself in new experiences, and crucially, I aspire to generate the means to sustain the kind of life I envision. This burning aspiration propels my creative journey.
