Candace, appreciate you joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

My company’s name was originally named Candy’s Drinks On The Go And Mobile Bartending and started in June 2017, I recently decided in July 2022 to change my company’s name and give it something with more of a catchy vibe. My company’s name is now called Twisted Cocktails Mobile Bartending.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

I started my Business in June of 2017 back home in Chicago Illinois. My Business started as just Candy’s Drinks On The Go where i just mixed up adult beverages in adult Capri Sun Pouches. In July of 2022 I changed my business name to Twisted Cocktails Mobile Bartending. It has always been my dream to be a mixologist. I took that dream and turned it into one of my many businesses. Not only do I do Adult Pouches I bartend for just about any event from Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions, Bridal Showers and Corporate Parties and many other events.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

When i decided to go forward with doing my business I researched different lenders and grants and ended up using what i had in my savings account which was not much, but however it was enough to get me the initial items i needed to start promoting my business such as business cards, bar equipment and other items.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Of course your initial social media audience would be family and friends, But the more I got into the business world i started finding events to do like pop up shops and birthday events and every time I went out I took my business cards with me and told people to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, People say I am the Drink Lady and I say I sure am now follow all my pages. I also had friends to tell friends to follow me on all platforms
