I’m Camryn Bailey, but you can call me Camm B, the proud CEO of Urban Glimpse, headquartered in Houston, TX. Our expertise specializes in Experimental Activations, Event Production, and Brand Partnerships. We take pride in offering top-notch solutions to guide our clients through the intricate urban markets within the Music, Corporate, and Influencer industries.
Urban Glimpse has been thriving for approximately 7 years, initially starting in Public Relations and later evolving into comprehensive event solutions. Although we call Houston home, our influence has stretched to various cities like Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and beyond, with no signs of slowing down. Being an entrepreneur is all about resilience, a true test of determination. The ability to not only support oneself but also sustain and grow the company is a genuine blessing. In the creative market, success is akin to survival of the fittest; you must wake up each day and motivate yourself to push forward. Networking, scouting projects, and making meaningful connections are vital components of the journey, without which I would feel lost. Along this path, I’ve discovered that the toughest battles are often assigned to the strongest individuals. Believing in the journey, from its humble beginnings to reaching the pinnacle, is paramount, embracing both the highs and lows with unwavering faith.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One invaluable lesson I have had to learn on my journey is the virtue of patience and the importance of never giving up on God and the path He has set me on. Life’s challenges may test my resolve, but I know that He is always by my side, guiding and supporting me through thick and thin. Trusting that I will never be placed in a position I cannot handle gives me the strength to persevere even in the toughest of times. It is crucial to maintain a deep understanding of my purpose and stay laser-focused on my goals, keeping my faith unwavering as I navigate through the twists and turns of life’s unpredictable course.
