I was diagnosed with a brain tumor 10 years ago which led to me having my 1st brain surgery ..fast forward to around the time the Chiefs won the Super Bowl I found out the tumor had grew back(devastating)on top of that May 21 I got a call saying my ex who really wasn’t my ex but was my ex (Leo Cortez) had passed away(heartbroken)so here I am trying to process this tumor growing back and grieve but couldn’t!!! Flew out to NC for his services stayed there for 5 days still couldn’t process neither situation..come back home time for surgery July 2nd…this surgery was much more complicated to recover from than the 1st..seizures ..anxiety.. depressionI still couldn’t process any of it

Where Brainiac91 came in -as I was recovering I couldn’t blurt out anything..nothing but thoughts ran threw my mind and that’s where the Brainiac fell into play. The only thing I could say was Psalms 91 and that’s where the 91 came from.

I originally wanted to create a makeup line for kids with brain cancer to look pretty as they recovered from surgery….but instead I created a line for adults kids and anyone else for comfort for quick Drs appointments, MRIs, makeup appointments, hair appointments and things of that nature because I know exactly how it is to go to back to back appointments and wanting to be comfortable but cute…that’s why my motto is Comfort with a bit of style..Get into it! Being that I’ve been through it I knew it would work and I’m loving the results! Ive solved the problem of struggling to find things comfortable yet stylish to wear with easy access to get to areas of the body for those follow up appointments.

All in all I’m testifying through a clothing line..and all Glory goes to God and that’s the most exciting part for me!

Ima 36 year old Brain Surgery survivor from KCK. I created the Brand Brainiac Ninetyone being that I went through brain surgery not once but twice. I remember days when I would have back to back appointments, and I would be in pain and couldn’t find anything comfortable to wear my head would be pounding heart would be racing and here I am searching and hunting for something appropriate but comfortable to wear… if I had a MRI or CT scan, I couldn’t wear anything with wiring if I needed my blood drawn no long sleeves ….on top of that I couldn’t get my hair done for awhile …so I had to wear a head wrap after going through both surgeries I was blessed to create a Brand from pure experience…. thinking about what I went through as I pick and chose every unique piece that I offer… every single piece is comfortable with a bit of style…some of those items I offer are: Head Wraps, Stylish Tshirts, Slides, Crocs, Hoodies, Leggings, Tank Tops, Trucker Hats, Sunglasses, Beach Wear for get aways even Scrubs and so much more things that you will find in hospital gift shops (my goal is to be in every hospital gift shop worldwide) I also would like Brainiac91 TShirts and Hoodies to be in College Bookstores!!! I have something really special coming soon for children to be announced soon!

Ima person that supports others genuinely and people genuinely support me I have people that have been following my journey since my first surgery which was 11 years ago. My advice is to stay humble stay honest and always support people even if they don’t support you!

What helped build my reputation is me being the woman that survived brain surgery twice and lived to build an inspiring Brand!
