We were lucky to catch up with Camille Hebron recently and have shared our conversation below.

I pray & hope my legacy with be that everyone will shop Mille Lux Furniture. Also our Atlanta, Georgia showroom will be the first stop my community will think of when shopping for small or large home furniture and accessories. Vision my son running the store with me side by side, and passing down to his children. Furnishing and Hosting lots of charitable events in the city and leaving our Mille Luv footprint of love at every doorstep and throughout the community.

For those who don’t quite know me yet, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Camille Hebron, 15yr resident of Atlanta,Single mom of 1 boy owner of Mille Lux Furniture.
Traveling all over state to state, different countries I have picked up an eye of luxury furniture shopping. I get super excited when I come across an new vendor to offer my clients of quality furniture at an affordable price that will last them years to come. I started my journey of selling furniture apprenticing under another OG Atlanta furniture owner In Atlanta. He showed my the ropes and I’ve been swinging every since 6 years strong, for ever grateful for Mr. Ray. Sometimes it take a stranger to push you to walk im your purpose that your everyday family & friends don’t see.
At Mille Lux Furniture I love to study my client, understand their style and things the love, favorite color so i can recommend the best furniture pieces possible to accent their beautiful home.
I’m mostly proud of being a women an African American women in this mainly male industry. Overcoming obstacles with freight issues & delays, manufactures not wanting to do business until reach certain sales quotas etc. Last but not least customized Mille Lux pieces from start to finish, having full control from production of items to installation at clients home, and my clients having the biggest smile on they faces.

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.
How I got started with Mille Lux Furniture, I started attending all of the furniture market weekends. This is where all the showrooms invite you to view all furniture items in stock and upcoming new inventory in production. They have in Las Vegas, Atlanta, North Carolina etc. Four years in the industry I’ve started scouting manufactures of my own to customize my own designs for furniture a lot of trial and error, loss inventory , lost money but lucked up on an amazing honest factory. Lesson I learned about some manufactures and warehouses is read the reviews and order small quantity first.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Millie lux furniture wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my passive income businesses. Working a 9 to 5 and getting a side hustle is always important when it comes to starting your small business. I say this because your 9 to 5 pays your bills will keep you afloat, but getting a side hustle DoorDash, Uber , Airbnb , Turo that extra income is needed while figuring out your small business until profit starts rolling in.
At the time of starting Millie lux I worked Health care IT contracts & had my own condo and I used to rent it out on Airbnb on the weekends some week days if the money was good. It was in a high-rise building close to 400 highway, luxury furniture of course so i stayed booked. I would make anywhere from $2,000- $3000 profit a month off this unit. I would take that profit flip into another rental to rent out. Also drove uber downtown on weekends. With that extra capital I was able to fly to vegas market shop vendors for my e-commerce store, pull up to clients house for Consultation take measurements show them catalogs. Some vendors Wouldn’t let you open an account with them unless you spent five to $10,000 with your initial order with my passive income I had the capital to gamble on myself to buy additional inventory to know that I can resell it and make double profit.
