Camille, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?

One of the most heartwarming experiences in my life occurred right after I had shown an act of kindness myself. I had just emerged from a particularly challenging Lupus flare-up and was feeling a bit lost in the world. Despite having my spiritual practice, I still felt a void. Several friends had mentioned a personal development workshop in the past, but I hadn’t been interested. However, deep down, I knew I needed something more, so I made a promise to myself that once I regained my health, I would sign up for and attend that workshop.

I started saving money bit by bit, determined to make it happen. Eventually, I gathered the necessary funds and eagerly enrolled in the workshop. As I was preparing to leave for the event, I felt compelled to pay forward some kindness and help someone in need. I prepared some food, packed a plate, placed some money in an envelope, and included a note of encouragement.

I boarded the train with a sense of anticipation, looking forward to the workshop. When my stop arrived, I exited the train and ascended the escalator. At the top of the escalator, I encountered a homeless man, so I offered him the food and the bag, along with the envelope. He graciously thanked me, and I continued on my way to the personal development workshop.

Arriving at the workshop’s entrance, I was bursting with excitement. I approached the registration desk, ready to pay for the experience. The woman behind the desk asked for my name, and I provided it. To my surprise, she told me to take a seat, which left me puzzled. I inquired about the payment process, assuming I would settle the fees later. However, she clarified that there was no payment required; she was gifting the workshop to me. I initially thought it was a jest and repeatedly asked if I could pay later, but she insisted that there was no charge and urged me to always pay kindness forward.

I was overwhelmed with gratitude for this unexpected gift, a gesture of kindness that had come full circle.

I am Camille Gordon Fanfair, a passionate business entrepreneur, Wife, Mother of four and Spiritual teacher. My journey as an entrepreneur has been defined by resilience, positivity, vision, and unwavering faith. Born in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn and raised by Caribbean parents, my background has deeply influenced my work and outlook.

This endeavor is a testament to my commitment to emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being through holistic practices. Alongside this, I lead several other thriving business ventures. One of my proudest moments was being recognized as one of New York City’s business visionaries in 2010. This acknowledgment highlights my dedication to my craft and the impact it has had on my community.

Fifteen years ago, I received a life-altering diagnosis of Lupus. This journey has been marked by challenges, including debilitating flare-ups. However, I made a choice not to let this disease define my life. Instead, I used it as an opportunity for reinvention. I became a self-taught product specialist, rigorously testing all my creations on myself. As part of my healing journey, I undertook training and obtained a license in Reiki healing. This holistic practice has been transformative, contributing to my emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. It has also guided the creation of wellness products and services that nourish the whole self.

The decision to embrace the practice of Reiki represented a significant turning point in my life, as it became a means to facilitate my own healing journey.

With determination, I embarked on an immersive journey into Reiki, dedicated to honing my skills. This voyage included extensive training, leading me to acquire the requisite licenses to become a certified Reiki practitioner and ultimately attain the esteemed status of a Reiki Master Teacher.

Reiki transcended its role as a mere practice; it seamlessly integrated into the heart of Essence of ASE’s holistic offerings. Essence of ASE, far more than just a brand, embodied my journey of resilience and unwavering determination as an entrepreneur. Under this umbrella, I curated a diverse array of products and services, meticulously designed to empower individuals across various dimensions of their lives, spanning wellness and self-care.
