We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Camila Nabours a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Camila thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

I love being able to do what makes my heart happy and call it a job. It makes me feel emotionally connected to myself and able to express my emotions. Sometimes I do think about having a regular job, only for the purpose of being attracted to the idea of stability. Sometimes in this industry, it can be fickle and inconsistent, but at the end of the day, it’s worth it since it’s my passion.

Camila , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I got into the industry when I was a competitive dancer at twelve, and had a lot of peers who were involved in the acting and film industry. I started taking acting classes and fell in love with it, and since then started working on projects and developing myself as an artist. I also have been growing my social media for sometime, collaborating with different artists and exploring different niches, as well as sharing my passions projects with my audience. I am most proud of the variety I’ve been able to incorporate in my life, and how I’ve have been able to tell important stories through films I’m in.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding part of being an artist Is being able to show different sides of myself in different forms of art. When it comes to acting, that means putting myself into a a variety of characters and emotions, and with music, portraying my different life stories through a range of sounds and lyrics. It’s very freeing to play around with different sounds, feelings, and moods.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I would love to take part in more films, hopefully challenging myself to new characters and being able to work with actors who are just as passionate as I am. When it comes to music, I hope I get to travel more shows and share my music with the world!
