Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cam Beemer. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Cam thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
When i graduated in 2016 i took the music route not knowing which way life would take me. I decided not to attend college and bet on myself throughout the years. I started making beats building myself each year to get where i was. In 2022 i quit my job and became a full time musician to engineer and produce music. The journey had ups and downs with plenty obstacles but i stuck to it.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My brand is “Cam Beemer” and “BeemerBoy” i built this off relationships and resources i gained over the years of working close with artists. Over the years i gained over 20 million plays throughout my career from big to smaller artists. I want to continue to help my city and clients recognized and the flowers we deserve in the city of New Orleans. I proud of the journey i know it’s a long way to go but if you fall in love with the process you can maintain

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped me build my reputation was staying me through the notoriety i may have gained. I don’t care how big or small an artist maybe i will give everyone a fair shot at working. I’m here because i love music and love the way it makes others feel. “Word of mouth” helped me market to where i am today. Like a lot of my peers may say “If Cam Beemer isn’t on your tape it isn’t finished” and i make sure to deliver every time

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson i learned is it isn’t always about the money. Of course we want to make a living off the things we love doing but sometimes a relationship will take you a long way . Don’t be afraid to help one another because you never know when it might be your day. Learn to love the journey , the hustle , even the downs. Every time step you make will lead up to where you want to go.
