We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Calister Bengall a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Calister, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.

I started my practice in 2009. I was working for Underground Atlanta. I was led by Spirit to put a website together. This was really a challenge because I had no idea how to do this. It took 2 days to get my website up and running. My first client was from Las Vegas, she was so impressed with the reading she called her entire family, told them all to book readings and it’s been uphill ever since.

Calister, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I have been providing Tarot Readings for almost 30 years. I’m initiated into 3 African Traditional Religions. Palo Mayombe Haitian Vodoun and Lucumi. As part of my practice I provide spiritual work to improve life conditions, I create my own spiritual products attraction oils, candles, baths and spiritual development courses.. I’m most proud of my students that have taken my workshop bringing a higher quality of life and women with infertility issues bringing forth strong healthy babies.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Honesty integrity accuracy and obedience to Spirit. In this industry there are many people who decide to do this work, but for those of us that are called its a ministry and you cannot concern yourself with what people want to hear you must be concerned with listening to Spirit and telling them what they need to hear. This is the truth most do not want to except because we always want things our way which always proves to be the exact thing we do not need. So I strive to speak truth that will help you break cycles of destructive behavior allowing you to take responsibility for your destiny success and generational wealth.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?

The most helpful thing is living a clean life honesty and practicing the words you speak. Being truly non-judgmental because you will encounter people from many walks of life. Your level of dedication loyalty and obedience to Spirit determines your success in this industry. We being Spiritualist are here to first serve the Goddess and God and the people they send to us for guidance. We aren’t here to bleed people for money and make them afraid. We are here to lead all souls back to God being obedient to the wisdom of our Ancestors!
