We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cali Goode a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Cali thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I’m hoping to build a legacy that reflects a deep passion for entrepreneurship and a commitment to empowering others through innovation, authenticity, inclusivity, and diversity. With “Kush’N it with Caligirlkush®,” I strive to break down barriers, foster community, and create a space where people truly feel empowered, inspired, and connected.
I hope to be remembered as a trailblazer who boldly created her own opportunities. I want my legacy to reflect a relentless pursuit of excellence, a dedication to advancing through innovative projects, and an ability to bring people together. More than anything, I will be remembered for my authenticity and my passion for consistently progressing to reach my highest potential.


Cali, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Cali Goode, also known as Caligirlkush®. Originally from the Bay Area. I recently transitioned from a full-time model, which had been my career for years, to embracing my role as an entrepreneur. I’ve begun transforming the image I built as a cannabis model, into a Cannabis Lifestyle Brand.
My entry into cannabis modeling started while I was working at a dispensary. I had always been interested in modeling, and a friend who was signed to an agency invited me to a photoshoot. That moment, I recognized my desire for expression. I began doing photoshoots regularly, moved on to runway shows and music videos, and eventually landed my first traveling gig with one of the top Cannabis/Tobacco wrap companies.
The following years modeling and pursing the cannabis industry helped me gain the experience needed to build a reputable name and image. Driven by a desire to create a brand of my own, I embarked on the challenging journey of turning Caligirlkush® into a Cannabis Lifestyle Brand. Curating a docu-reality series that follows my journey and promotes my brand. This series, which is currently being produced for network licensing, is innovative in its approach to cannabis advertising—aiming to transcend the cannabis community and resonate with a broader audience through its meaningful content and values.
Thus far, I have secured a deal with an award-winning cannabis company to launch Caligirlkush® in the Bay Area later this year. Not only does this brands’ values and morals align with mine, but their care for the plants and their mission has made them stand out from the rest.
What sets me apart from others is my relentless pursuit to achieve my goals despite obstacles, my ability to cultivate community, and my pursuit for knowledge. I’m proud of my unwavering faith. At no moment did I or will I doubt my capability to succeed. I pivoted when necessary, I lost some people along the way, but I stayed true to my vision, enjoyed the journey and dared to dream big. One important thing about me has always been, I’m not out to prove anyone wrong.. I just want to prove myself right!


We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
A story from my journey that vividly illustrates my resilience dates back nearly three years. Having spent years in the cannabis industry as a model and brand ambassador, I felt a deep-seated desire for transformation I wanted more than to simply represent other brands—I wanted to create something that reflected my own values of inclusivity, diversity, and authenticity. This vision led me to create my own cannabis lifestyle brand, Caligirlkush®.
To bring this vision to life, I reached out to companies I had previously worked with, pitching my brand and its core values. Despite my enthusiasm, the consistent response I received was, “Why you?” This question, while initially disheartening, ignited a fire within me. Instead of accepting the rejection, I embraced it as a challenge. I thought, “Why not me?”
In response, I conceived the idea of a docu-reality series that would document the journey of launching my cannabis lifestyle brand against all odds. I created and produced a pilot named “Kush’N it with Caligirlkush®” and began reaching out to networks and cannabis companies. Early on, I connected with producers, storywriters, and creative directors from major networks who were enthusiastic about the series. Their support was instrumental in securing a deal with an award winning cannabis company, marking a significant milestone in my journey.


How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What truly shaped my reputation was an unwavering willingness to take bold risks while staying true to who I am. By relentlessly pursuing my creative vision and assembling a supportive, talented team, I was able to craft a brand that genuinely embodies my core values. This approach helped me forge deep and meaningful connections, which have been instrumental in my success. My dedication to genuine collaboration and creative expression has been the cornerstone of my achievements and the driving force behind my reputation.
