We were lucky to catch up with Caleb Seales recently and have shared our conversation below.
Caleb, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission has always been focused on cultivating a new realm focused on cinematography and storytelling. I got my start in film being around creatives that did not put a focus on stronger cinematography, therefore, I made that my goal to change the game in a real way. Aside from the trendy effects we see used all the time, I wanted to push out videos with a raw and digestible meaning.
Caleb, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Caleb Seales. I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University where I’ve studied marketing in undergrad. I got my start in film simply from being around other creative in the Atlanta community. After getting my start I realized it was two things that Atlanta needed the most and that included having mentors and also have a creative locations to shoot. This is why I created two of my companies “OPNSZN”(@opnszn) and “THEHBUC”(@thehbuc). We have curated over 200 creative projects in Atlanta at our studio the HBUC, and also Has been working on creative projects via OPNSZN for close to 10 years. I’m exterminally proud of the legacy we’re laying down for future creatives memories that we’ve created test for and what do we still have to do moving forward.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Resources I wish I know about earlier my credit journey would be peer based rental services such as “Sharegrid”. It’s essentially the “Airbnb of camera rentals”. Super easy to use as both a renter and a rentee. Saves some money when you’re doing most for for free starting out.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The goal is driving me in my credative journey is that the other known him knowing that there’s a destination on the other side of today’s current problems whatever that looks like I’m excited to see and that’s the mission this discovery and satisfying to level of curiosities is based on the moments the wins and everything that led up to this moment
