Caitlynn, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Our mission is to create a page where Halloween, fall and spooky lovers can connect and find people who enjoy a season as much as them. We hope they can find Community and comfort on our page.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I started this Instagram page back in 2018. It was started only for fun and as a place for me to share Halloween stuff without flooding my followers on my personal account with silly memes, decor and pretty much anything that had to do with Halloween. So I decided to start this page and it grew very quickly! We now offer merch, collab with other spooky businesses and have been featured in countless magazines and podcasts. I love our page because even thought it’s Halloween themed we post all kinds of content. If it’s spooky, creepy or weird we will definitely share it!

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

I run this account with my very best friend Ayana! We’ve known each other for such a long time (Since Jr. High) and we’ve always shared the same love for Halloween!

How did you build your audience on social media?

Hashtags and posting consistently is my BIGGEST advice! It’s so important to post content as often as possible because people are following you to see exactly that! You don’t want to disappoint them. Hashtags are helpful in finding pages, so the more hashtags you have the more likely your post is to pop up when it’s searched. Also interacting with your followers, replying to dms and comments is a great way to connect with your followers.
