We were lucky to catch up with Caitie Gallet recently and have shared our conversation below.

Caitie , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Often outsiders look at a successful business and think it became a success overnight. Even media and especially movies love to gloss over nitty, gritty details that went into that middle phase of your business – after you started but before you got to where you are today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. Can you talk to us about your scaling up story – what are some of the nitty, gritty details folks should know about?

Way before TikTok and from the early days of Vine, I’ve been a content creator with a talent and drive for adding a unique twist to everything I saw on the daily. Starting off with small skits, vlogging, and fun impromptu ideas, soon turned into how can I truly make my vision come to life.

As a fitness trainer in group classes for many years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the human body, focusing on perfect form and overall connection a client would feel from beginning to end. Connecting with people, hyping them up, and revealing their true beauty inside and out is what I live for.

When I stepped into these group classes it became my playground. This opportunity gave me years to practice on angles, poses, and shots to make my clients look and feel amazing. Most of all without even knowing it, I was building my empire right before my very eyes.

Years of dedication and creativity have allowed me to scale up my business, creating a strong, ever-growing network of loyal continuous clients. Sure, marketing skills have helped build my business, but I truly believe it’s the personal connections that grow a thriving community that have led me to my real success!

I’ve always thrived working with small mom-and-pop shops, diving in headfirst to help them build their brand from scratch. Whether it’s handling hiring, payroll, or running events, I’ve worn every hat and soaked up every lesson. Think of it as my personal boot camp for business—where I learned firsthand what it takes to transform a vision into a powerhouse.

I had a dream of becoming an event coordinator and actually landed this job on my birthday! It was a whirlwind of long hours, endless weekends, and hardly any sleep. We had this infamous desk called the “hot seat”—if you didn’t nail a task, you’d end up there, getting every single detail looked over and, frankly, grilled. For any emotional fallout, there was the “therapy chair” where you could let it all out. Despite the drama, the job was a wild ride of fun and tough lessons which helped me get a backbone of right and wrong. When I grow a team, I aim to help them learn and grow from their mistakes, no hot seat needed.

Overall, Passion can be the first step to get things moving! It’s about getting in there, and giving the everyday dedication that Is required to turn your vision into reality.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

Staying in touch with clients? Oh, that’s where the magic happens. I don’t just snap photos; I’m there for your baby’s first cake smash, your big business launch, your first epic trip, and those spontaneous moments that make life thrilling.

I don’t just say goodbye after a session. I keep tabs on those milestones—your anniversaries, birthdays, and those throwback-worthy moments we captured together. Expect me to drop a message or a note that says, “Hey, remember that time we had a blast at your shoot?” It’s not just about remembering; it’s about celebrating with you.

I’m here to turn those one-time shoots into ongoing celebrations in each and every one of my clients.
