We recently connected with Caché Castelow and have shared our conversation below.
Caché , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
Great question! I believe the most recent powerful project I’ve worked on was the “Women Pioneers In Black History” workshop. This workshop was earlier this year, in February. It was special for me to have this workshop in February, Black History Month! This workshop highlighted six women in Black history, which contributed to moving the culture forward in a large capacity in their respected way.
For a while now, I have wanted to have a Black History Month workshop! I love learning about Black history and finding facts about Black History Pioneers. When I research Black History and find factual information, I feel even more connected to my roots and inspired to go after my ambitions, through their resilience and power to want more out of life, and in some cases attain what they’re seeking for, it’s humbling to me.
I do believe we are our ancestor’s wildest dreams. Initially, I was thinking of having a Black History Month tour at a local park, but then I realized my out-of-state loyal followers of “GoalGetIt: Vision Workshops” would be missing out on the fun, so instead I introduced this new workshop virtually, it was a huge success!
What was so important to me about this workshop, was bringing other business owners, and women of color to portray each pioneer. I had a total of 4 women I selected to represent a woman pioneer. We rehearsed and displayed quotes, videos, pictures, and facts, that educated the viewers about the essence of each woman in history, and how each woman was vital in Black History. I guess you’re wondering who were the Black Women Pioneers? Look no further than we honored, Harriet Tubman, Madam C.J Walker, Issa Rae, Oprah Winfrey, Mary McLeod Bethune, and Maya Angelou.
This workshop was meaningful to me, and the women involved, a complete pivoting moment for, GoalGetIt: Vision Workshops, and I’m glad the workshop was diverse and captured the hearts of many women from different backgrounds.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
First, thank you for having me! I do appreciate it.
I’m a graduate of Arizona State University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, School of Liberal Arts, class of 2022. I have the vision, write it down, pray, put in the work, and speak greatness over myself.
In 2015, I was amazed by Oprah’s master class video’s around this time, and I loved her interview skills. I just knew I would be a Journalist or work in the Entertainment Industry in some capacity one day speaking. I heard Oprah mention a “Vision Board” in one of her master classes and the benefits of creating one, so I began making Vision Boards, which was a total breath of fresh air. I was finally able to put real vision into my goals. I just knew in my heart that everyone had to experience this breakthrough and manifestation process.
In 2016, I created, GoalGetIt: Vision Workshops nonprofit a place where people can get inspired and network with one another in a goal-setting environment. The goal is to build one another up through community healing, creativity, and networking to motivate one another to reach for our passions.
In 2020, that is when the price went up sort of speak, I had my first virtual workshop and sponsor. January 17 was a day after my birthday and all I cared about was making sure the WIFI was working to the best of its ability. I now laugh thinking of that worry because everything went great. Take a Leap of Faith and just do it! I never thought in 2016 that Starbucks would be my sponsor for my first virtual workshop. Starbucks sponsored over 15 high-end cups and warming mugs with various designs and bags of coffee. We all love a nice designed Starbucks cup and I’m forever grateful and so are the participants!
In 2021, I expanded, GoalGetIt: Vision Workshops from my familiar Vision Board Workshops, I was empowered to be more creative and allow more ideas to become reality.
In November of 2021, I introduced the world, to my Gratitude Workshop. Gratitude is synonymous with happiness. We created Gratitude Jars, and introduced amazing speakers to my audience and I also got the opportunity to partner with PearledBuddha for the second part of the workshop, a black owner of a Yoga company. We all zoned into being present in the moment and grateful, everything was so zen in the middle of the park with a perfect breeze. There were over 20 attendees, a diverse group of men and women there to enjoy themselves. The reviews were amazing, some attendees brought their children, and everything was a complete package.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being creative is owning my narrative and teaching others how to do the same. I love being able to be the person to inspire and motivate others, I know I will impact the world on a diverse social level and bring people together in a creative space to seek and strive for the best, rather that’s in a boardroom, on a production set or in my home office doing a virtual workshop.
I want people to enlarge their vision, I believe in every season in life we need that person to charge our battery and give us that push or motivation to go after our desires and I love when I receive that feeling and share all my knowledge with others. I want us all to win, the winning mindset, that mindset is what sets GoalGetIt: Vision Workshops and me apart from others because, to me– we are all going to level up around here!
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Yes, I recommend reading books that align with where you are and where you’re heading in life. Here are 3 of my favorites, no exact order:
1. Destiny by: TD Jakes
2. On Managing Yourself by Harvard Business Review
3. Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy
4. Gentlewoman: Etiquette for a Lady, from a Gentleman by Enitan O. Bereloa II
