Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to C..J. Bautista. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
C..J., thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
I focus mostly on 360° Photography and videography. It’s all about a different perspective and point of view when capturing a moment. I’ve added drone work to expand on this and explore more creative opportunities.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’ve been playing around with cameras as long as I remember. Mostly action cameras documenting trips and such. It was about three years ago when I bought my first 360° camera. I thought id be doing more of the same just adding more perspectives. Then I discovered tiny planets. It’s a method of transforming a 360° image into a 2-dimensional view. It was in this that I found out that I had a creative side.
Fast forward and I’m still exploring new angles and perspectives through the lens of 360° cameras.
I have since earned my drone license to take my unique style of photography and videography to the skies.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Early on into my journey I had a bag full of all my equipment stolen. Three cameras, memory cards, tripods and other various items. I was devastated.
Almost as soon as I started finding my footing and my creative voice it was all taken away. I was being told that it was a sign to hang it all up and focus on my “responsibilities”.
At the time I was a brand ambassador for a social media startup that focused in 360° videos. They heard about my situation and actually sent me a new 360°camera. This gesture of kindness inspired me to keep going. To rebuild and take my ideas to new levels.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding thing about what the kind of work that I do is when it inspires others to try it too. I have no problem sharing tips, tricks and advice for anyone interested in 360° photography. It brings me joy when people who have never seen this type of photography ask me how? What? And express an interest in what I do.
