not rocket science, but the best investment will always be in yourself. when you’re struggling to receive gratification externally, invest that time & energy into yourself + your craft.

in some ways I feel I was destined to be a creative artist, but I didnt really find myself fully committed to being one until I realized a normal lifestyle wouldnt provide the joy I needed.
I began recording music & creating brand designs which eventually leads me to create DieNKulurs Collection by C.C. Bey & HAppy Life Recordings.
The motto “turn pain to power’ symbolizes the message I want to display for the youth and individuals dealing with trauma; understanding there is more power in the triumphs we all share than the pain that sometimes divides us.
Im most proud of my fortitude; I havent become as wealthy as some of my peers, but I maintain a childlike wonder for the world and I have experiences that help me resonate with people all around the world. I’m proud of the growth I’ve made since I’ve first decided to create art & music.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding part of being an artist for me would have to be the unrestricted freedom of expression. The destination isn’t always what’s expected but the journey is always worth it.
Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
growth doesn’t come without error; do not let the mistakes of your past hold you hostage to a perspective that no longer suites you.
I chose to sacrifice my relationship with my family & loved ones in order to break my own toxic cycles & create my own legacy.
sometimes you have to be the bad guy in order to do great things; every hero is a villain to someone.
