We recently connected with Sydonnie Broady and have shared our conversation below.
Sydonnie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To date, we are a few days shy of our 1yr anniversary and we are very grateful and appreciate the support that we have received from the Atlanta metro region and beyond.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
From left to right Marlon Broady, Kitty Broady and Sydonnie Broady.
We all grew up in Jamaica where we were exposed to food through family owned restaurant(s) and so, our passion for food, people and service developed early on.
We all have worked in the Hospitality Industry specifically in Food and Beverage and also Sales which has helped us to execute our game plans by using each of our expertise.
Our business model is using Jamaican foods and presenting them in a fun new way for American and worldwide audiences to enjoy. We have a lot of great ideas/plans for our future and we can’t wait to reveal to all of our customers and potential clients.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Word of mouth, being flexible to service different areas and communities throughout Atlanta, our social media presence, and strong recommendations from companies and clients.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
We built our reputation by being consistent with our food and service no matter what event or venue that we will be at. We strive for consistency in our food quality , presentation, and we take pride on our speed of service. We do a lot of planning and preparing ahead of time to ensure we are able to deliver on the promises and expectations that we put forth. We love all of our customers and stay in regular communication with them via social media (Instagram) and maintaining a presence in our community.
