We were lucky to catch up with Bryon Rothe recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryon, thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

To be successful it takes a team. I need a crew of people I can rely on.
The most important things are hard work and integrity – doing what you say you will do. Showing up on time, remaining respectful with good communication.
My motto when assisting people with making their housing dreams come true is –

“The customer is always right”

I very much enjoy the transformation a house can go through, from before to after I have worked on it, and to go above and beyond to see people light up, knowing that what is being crafted will go on to make many memories. Everyones idea of the perfect home is different. That makes my job interesting, and keeps me on my toes.

I feel successful to have made so many people happy with the results I create both by myself and with the other skilled craftsmen I work with.

Bryon, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

United Construction Solutions is my Phoenix based business, for all construction needs.

When I was a kid, my grandparents used to buy and sell apartment complexes so I would help them to remodel. I gained skills in drywall, plumbing, painting, finishing, and generally learning how everything is constructed. With all of the knowledge I have gained over the years, I am able to put it all together, and offer a complete service of house rendering. I have also built houses from scratch, with a team I put together of skilled professionals.

I am a people person, and I prefer hands on practical matters, so it has taken me a while to get the media side of things off the ground. My priority has always been on the physical job at hand, I lam reliable to get the job done, I will do what it takes.

It is my job to find a way to do what the client wants done. I can show them options if they ask for them, and give my opinion, I have visionary skills from years of seeing different housing plans, how a space can be used, and the best use of it, yet ultimately, it boils down to whatever the client wants.

I do the best I can possibly do, with integrity, and make sure everyone is on the same page before moving forwards on a job. I have worked in the construction industry for 35 years now, and have seen many changes in the Phoenix area. I have been called in to mend other contractors mistakes many a time, and I firmly believe if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right the first time. “Do it right or do it twice”

The thing that sets me apart from others, is that my high quality work speaks for itself.
This is why I come highly referred. I am grateful for the hard work being appreciated.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Doing the job right!
I also like to talk directly to people, so I am often on the phone making sure the right information gets to the right person, also talking directly in person. In this day and age, it is easy to let a machine take your place, I believe you cannot replace one on one human communication, it is something I pride myself on. People can tell that I genuinely care about offering a great service. The results speak for themselves.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Alongside personal networking, family and friends referrals, Better Business Bureau has been a good source, I have found them helpful in that they are there to support businesses such as UCS, and to weed out the scammers and people who are doing a poor job. I appreciate the demand for high standards, so when someone is looking for work done well, the BBB is a good place to look.
