We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brynhild Baldrimnir. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brynhild below.
Brynhild , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
I spent 15 years operating at the intersection of crisis and community, managing significant risk while supporting those navigating the most difficult social realities. After over a decade of working within the constraints of the social service system, I made a conscious, strategic decision to step outside of traditional career paths. This risk was a necessary leap toward authentic mentorship and community-based liberation work. I now apply my academic background and nearly three decades of work ethic to foster resilient community spaces that exist outside of conventional, top-down structures. Pivoting toward community-centric sustainability. Today, I feel more at peace being in a sovereign state and living my dreams of helping others .

Brynhild , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My Journey & Philosophy
I have spent nearly 20 years immersed in the study of historical and spiritual texts, ranging from Northern European practices and Egyptian mysteries to academic scholarly papers on energy work. This extensive research provides the foundation for my work as a spiritual mentor and activist.
My entry into the healing and spiritual industry was born from a lifelong calling. Having been thrust into rigid religious structures as a child, I naturally began to question those dogmas. That personal history now fuels my passion for helping others navigate the transition away from cult-like religious environments, empowering them to rely on their own intuition and heal from within.
My practice combines traditional spiritual tools with practical, evidence-based communication strategies. I provide a unique blend of services designed to address the complexity of the human experience:
Solfeggio Tuning Fork Sessions: Utilizing sound frequencies to balance energy and promote deep relaxation.
Runic Readings: Drawing on years of dedicated study and mentorship to provide insight and clarity.
Death Doulaship: Offering compassionate support and guidance during life’s final transition
Ancestry & Connection Readings: Helping individuals bridge the gap between their current selves and their ancestral roots.
What truly distinguishes my approach is the integration of Social Work principles and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques into spiritual mentorship. I don’t just offer metaphysical guidance; I provide practical communication tools to help people express their needs and navigate their emotions effectively.
I am most proud of my ability to meet people exactly where they are. I recognize that humans are beautifully complex and that healing is never linear. By combining the scholar’s mind with a healer’s heart, I solve the problem of spiritual isolation helping clients move from a state of external dependency to one of internal sovereignty.
For potential followers and clients, I want you to know that this work is about more than just “readings.” It is about reclaiming your narrative, understanding your history, and finding a safe space to show up as your authentic, complex self.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The fear of perception is often the “ghost” of religious upbringing. When you grow up in an environment where your worth is tied to a specific standard or a watchful community, you develop a highly tuned internal radar for judgment. You aren’t just living your life; you’re performing it for an invisible audience.
It makes perfect sense that unlearning this particular narrative feels like a battle. Essentially your rewriting your internal software while it’s still running.
Confidence isn’t the absence of that fear; it’s the realization that other people’s narratives are actually just projections. Unlearning fear and low confidence to moving in a more sovereign direction

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
The particular fields I have mentioned ; I would have to say that all the knowledge I have accumulated and out of all the schooling the one thing that sticks out the most is in dealing with all manner of people and backgrounds. It’s the experience with people that really teaches you things. I’d say talk to people outside of your personal circles, go spend a day at a shelter or food place that helps those less fortunate. Read Shakespeare and Robert Frost and Jane Austen and Oscar Wilde, they are the best teachers on human nature . Read the words of the Natives from this land . They also know a lot
