We recently connected with Brooke Siprell and have shared our conversation below.

Brooke, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I don’t know if I pursued a creative career or if a creative career pursued me! However, it definitely isn’t for the faint of heart.

I have always been a creative soul & art takes form in so many ways. My life has been so heavily influenced by art and imagination ever since I can remember. With imagination, the possibilities are endless. Growing up with the oldest of my siblings I was always the creative one decorating, painting, planning, scrapbooking, diy, I am even creative with my food! I knew I’d eventually take the creative path professionally.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I come from very humbled beginnings, so let’s just say makeup has always been my release. Every since I was gifted my first lipstick as little girl, I can remember thinking; I will make everything around me beautiful and that will be my life. Now, that’s what I strive to create, a life filled with beauty. I am a woman of many different roles. A business owner, artist, mother, partner, esthetician, chef, content creator, you name it! (Laughs)
Early in my career, I was fortunate enough to do hair and makeup for a number of high profile clientele and social media influencers which quickly blossomed into beautiful career curating some of the most gorgeous faces from Miami to LA. I’ve had the opportunity to travel internationally and work with some really popular brands sharing my love for for all things beauty. These opportunities given me such of deeper knowledge into this world. One thing that always sets me apart is my unique eye for artistry. A makeup artist is required to remain up to date with new trends and fashion. The beauty industry evolves on a daily basis and the expertise has to be upgraded accordingly. Staying ahead of the game allows me to express my artist’ visions while remaining original and bringing out the TRUE beauty in every look I create. I believe all women deserve the opportunity to be the best version of themselves and that’s what my clients feel when I hand them the mirror. Confident.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I could give you a million different examples right now, but simply put, you’re able to work with beauty anytime you want. — While others may not have the ability to be surrounded by beauty, artists can work with beauty at any moment….. and watching the way someone responds to that is one of the best feelings.

: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

If you have a strong purpose in life, you don’t have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there, so just find your passion. Focus on what you do best and constantly build on those successes. I hope to make a difference in the world by sharing my art and my perspective on beauty. Art can inspire change, make people feel and think… it beautifies our world.
