Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brooke Johnson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Brooke, thanks for joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
My path to my stepping into helping people heal has been lifelong, every struggle was defining me to prepare me. However, as my work is my life and born through me when my root trauma was finally remembered, everything shattered. My entire life from 3 years old was all crumbing. My heart was broken beyond imagination.
Ethics are non negotiable to me, and I had to close everything down to heal. I didn’t know how long this would take but I did understand this healing process was also part of my gifts and to bring those back on board fully required that I go into the void to heal.
I did, and when it was time I stepped back into work. Everything was much more powerful and the space I hold for clients was impeccable in every way.
In the world of energy and healing, trauma when it has not been worked through can be a very dangerous thing. Many practitioners are not coming from a place of continually doing their own work so that the clients trauma is safe to surface and navigate.
This chapter for me was about learning to trust, that sometimes we are pulled back because something bigger is calling us forward. It called on me to repeatedly surrender to the healing and not to outsource when I was doubting myself.
Regardless of what business you are in, trusting yourself is the greatest tool and gift you can give yourself. It usually requires some healing but when you can embody each moment and move from there with full trust in yourself, what unfolds is more powerful than anything the mind could ever come up with.

Brooke, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
While I am trained in various modalities including shamanic practitioner, attuned Reiki master and trauma informed psychedelic guide and integration, I ultimately work in an intuitive flow that is unique to each client. It requires you to step into trusting the mystery and the spaces of healing that words don’t capture.
You want to know exactly what it is I do…
There really aren’t words and it can’t be contained to fit into your understanding.
My clients don’t have words aside from it being what they were missing somehow.
I help people die, and I help them be reborn.
Trust me, if you’re alive you’ve gone through a death. You just might not be aware or have integrated it. We all move through cycles in our lifetimes.
I help them navigate every layer and every part that is causing misalignment.
I help them build a chrysalis where the energy body, physical body and spirit can release and transmute.
Then I hold space in the void. The depths that feel like they will swallow every ounce of what they knew. I help fortify and ground when it’s needed and I stand back and mirror to them where they are headed.
I get to watch them remember every part of themselves and their gifts unique to them, regardless of what they do with them…because you can’t be whole while you’re forgetting an essential part of what makes you, you.
I watch as you come Home to yourself. Where your traumas don’t dictate your life, where you feel your life force coursing clear through your body, where you finally feel like that thing you were somehow searching for without knowing has been found.
It was inside of you all along, it is you.
This is part of what I do, and you won’t even know what you’re coming for sometimes and it doesn’t even matter.
That’s why the words around this, just don’t matter.
Feel behind it all.
I lay out my life experiences so that when I tell you I’ve got you, you know beyond a doubt that I do.
My work is grounded in a safe container with love and clarity.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
That anybody outside of me, holds the answer.
I thought I needed someone to help me fully step into my role, to walk me through a process or more trainings and teachings. You reach a point where you lose what is your unique power when you don’t trust that you know what you are doing. Not in an ego way, but in the way of following your internal compass. The most successful person you could imagine could tell you what they think you should do, and if it does not resonate inside of you…it will do absolutely nothing other than throw you off track.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Going into the depths of the personal healing journey to be able to actually hold space for others safely, and with a deep knowing that can be felt. Keeping ethics the top priority, nothing should be more important than the space you hold for your clients.
