Brooke, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Thanks so much for having me! I’d be happy to. I have always loved to shop, maybe even a little too much, but what I love even more than that is helping others feel great about themselves. I was able to express my personality and found my confidence through fashion which is how I got the idea to launch Bmaes Boutique. Since opening my virtual doors in 2019, it’s been my mission ever since to help other women find their confidence through style and fashion.
As Bmaes has grown, so has our group of Bmaes Babes. We have thousands of Bmaes Babes throughout our platforms. Women from all over the United States have come together to share not only a love for fashion, shopping and Bmaes style but we’ve also come together to build some of the best friendships along the way.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
Absolutely! My name is Brooke but you can call me B. I grew up in Nebraska (GO HUSKERS!) but fell in love with Arkansas and have planted my roots here in NWA. I’m a wifey to my Jr. High School sweetheart, John and boy mama to my little man, Emmett. I’m a HUGE family girl! Mexican food is kind of my jam so if you speak my love language, we’re going to be damn good friends. Oh, and outside of being in love with all things fashion, I’m slightly obsessed with home design (I may have flipped a house or two).
Anyways, I had the dream of launching my online boutique for what seems like forever now! My dream became a reality in 2019 when we first opened our “virtual doors” and went live. I knew I wanted to create a seamless shopping experience where women could find something that made them feel confident and beautiful! I truly believe an outfit you feel great in boosts your confidence and sets the tone for your day. I mean, who doesn’t love being best dressed – right?!

We pride ourselves in friendly customer service, super fast delivery, trendy clothing and accessories all while providing our Bmaes Babes with a seamless online shopping experience. We’re proud to be a family owned and operated small business.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We keep in touch with our Bmaes Babes through social media, texting, email marketing and through our mobile app.
We have a VIP Facebook group that gets sneak peeks on all things coming, exclusive access to deals, giveaways and more. This is where where we get to socialize, have girl talk, be weird, build friendships, hype each other up and so much more.
We send text messages when we drop new arrivals, have crazy sales going on, we let customers know when their orders ship, etc. Our email marketing is used for the same thing, but obviously sent to our Bmaes Babes email addresses. We also send things like abandoned carts, VIP exclusives, etc.
Our mobile app users get special perks like first dibs on all new arrivals so they get early access to shop which means they have a better chance at snagging items they love before they sell out.
We also have a loyalty program where they earn 1 point for every $1 they spend. They can cash in their rewards for discounts on orders.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Word of mouth! Sounds cliché but this is so true. You’re 10 times more likely to buy from a new place if a friend recommends it vs just stumbling upon it, right? Treat your customers like GOLD. Be honest, be helpful, be unapologetically YOU and connect with them. People will buy from you because it’s YOU. It’s truly the best compliment when you know someone has referred your business because it means that they trust you to take care of not only themselves, but someone they know and care about.
